Julia and the Triple C

This book is special to me.
I wrote it back in 2004 just before my niece in Sweden was born. I felt far away and wanted to be part of her upbringing. But living in a different country made that impossible. So I tried to pinpoint all the things that I wanted to teach her.
Going my own way at first and then finding a publisher.
Five of the images from the story got selected for the exhibition at The Bologna Childrens’ Book Fair, so I went there and showed the book to a lot of publishers from different countries. In 2018 I decided to get the funds through a Kickstarter-project and then publish it with Ratatosk Publishing. This independent but extremely professional publisher was set up by Fredrik Torisson and myself. We printed 500 copies that were all signed and numbered. Three years later my agent at Pickled Ink found a publisher for this story. It was published by Seven Stories Press in November 2022.
